Lucifer or his enemies aren't a problem. I'm not a friend of his, I'm just trying not to piss him. [That and Jeff being a ring bearer is still kind of a touchy subject, one he doesn't want to make common knowledge.]

Lucifer tends to get other people involved in his problems whether he wants them to or not. I'm not a Christian, but I'm pretty sure that's like sort of his primary mission in life.

He's an attorney, not an investigative journalist. Airing clients' business to the world isn't exactly a habit of his.

I know that that sort of publicity will mean. He won't get turned away when he applies for jobs any longer.

Yeah, he'll leave as soon as he builds up a reputation and popularity. Meaning that he'll depart at the exact moment that he's starting to pose any sort of threat to you.
